A malicious malware called Flashback has exploited a security flaw on Java plugin making it vulnerable to attacks. It is confirmed that more than 600,000Apple computers have been affected worldwide, 100,000 of which is in Canada. The incident is an eye opener for mac users which usually boasts about macs being invulnerable to viruses.

1.5 Million Credit Card Account Numbers Hacked.

Over the weekend, Global Payments Inc, the US’s 7th largest merchant acquirer, announced that there was a significant security breach in their system. The breach involved an estimated 1.5 million account numbers and other key information for accounts in North America.
